Attributing a hidden military calculation to Ukraine’s peace proposals

What it claims

Ukraine’s call for an immediate ceasefire is cast as a pretence of peace intended to enable rearmament and tighter mobilisation. Other states’ support for that position is reduced to an attempt to extract Western weapons and avoid pressure to make concessions. Maintaining territorial claims and calling for Russia’s military capacity to be weakened are labeled as proof of an intention to derail talks and provoke Russia.
