What it claims

Reports of claimed Iranian strikes on U.S. bases and ships are cast as proof that the United States cannot stand up to Iran, Russia, or China. The confrontation with Iran is reduced to a picture of depleted munitions, hit targets, and the inevitable decline of American power. Some posts also attribute a strike on a wedding party to the United States and link it to an allegedly large-scale Iranian response.

• Prebunk: As a conflict develops, expect Kremlin-aligned sources to present unverified reports of losses or strikes as conclusive proof of U.S. decline. Be especially cautious of posts declaring the outcome of a battle before independent confirmation emerges.
