Predicting the collapse of Western aid through “museum emptying” and industrial accidents

What it claims

Western military support for Ukraine is portrayed as being in a state of critical exhaustion, forcing allies to hand over museum exhibits. Simultaneously, incidents at European defence plants are passed off as a direct consequence of overstrain or sabotage linked to supplies for Kyiv. The goal is to convince the Polish public that further military support is futile and dangerous.

The manipulation exploits genuine Polish concerns regarding the depletion of their own defence resources and security risks associated with logistics hubs near the border.

How to counter

• Technique exposure: Propaganda often uses the “cherry-picking” tactic, passing off equipment transfers from private collectors as the “last resort” of states, while ignoring the large-scale production of modern weaponry in the West.
• Reframe: Any industrial incidents in Europe are instantly instrumentalised by the Kremlin to intimidate Europeans into abandoning support for Ukraine for the sake of imaginary “safety”.
