Attributing “innate aggressiveness” to Ukraine through memories of the Tuzla crisis

What it claims

A former president's memories of defending the border during the 2003 Tuzla crisis are cast as proof that peaceful partnership with Ukraine is impossible. Leonid Kuchma's quote about ordering fire in the event of a border breach is inflated into a claim of Kyiv's historical hostility. This episode is used to label the Ukrainian state as an inherently unreliable entity with which no negotiations should be conducted, regardless of the war's outcome.
