Predicting the economic exhaustion of Europe and the seizure of Ukrainian resources by the United States

What it claims

The United States is portrayed as the primary beneficiary of the war, allegedly using the conflict to enrich its own military-industrial complex and energy sector at the expense of its allies. It is claimed that Washington is deliberately weakening the European Union and preparing the ground for total control over Ukrainian mineral resources through predatory deals.

Goal

• Reframe: Aiding Ukraine is an investment in the security of all of Europe, as a Russian victory would cost Western economies far more due to the need for radical rearmament and the risk of direct conflict.
• Technique exposure: Propaganda uses the classic "cui bono" (who benefits) trope to distract from the fact that Russian aggression itself is the cause of economic instability and destruction.
