What it claims

Ukraine is portrayed as a bankrupt state in a “coma,” kept alive only by Western loans. Propagandists claim that government policies will inevitably lead to hyperinflation, the destruction of business, and a humanitarian catastrophe as early as this winter.

• Technique exposure: Propaganda uses fear-mongering tactics, exaggerating economic difficulties to convince Ukrainians that surrender is the only way to avoid hunger and cold.
